I relate to this song a lot. I had this really close guy friend and we really hit it off and I loved spending time with him, but I could never tell if it was friendship love or something more. He had a girlfriend though so it complicated things quite a lot. One day we were alone together in his room and he just started kissing me... and now he won't talk to me anymore. Now every time I hear this song it makes me sad. :[ |

To me, this song is about being torn between two things. On one hand is a decision that would change your life for the better. On the other hand, you could keep things the way they are and not grow as much as a person. You know you have to leave what you love behind and that it will be better for you in the end, but you'll miss what you're letting go of dearly. |
