When my brother died, I listened to this song constantly EVERY DAY... I still listen to it atleast once a day... The song always gets to me, it lets me know that no matter what happens I can always get through things and that I don't need to escape my life to deal with my problems... And for everyone crying about it being a Christian song, it doesn't HAVE to be a Christian song... A song's meaning is different for everyone so stop trying to say that they wrote this song to tell you to stay faithful to God etc. etc... Take the song, listen to it, feel it, and find your own meaning.. For me it's not giving up hope when EVERYTHING's gone wrong. |

And I find it funny that you think Jesus is so kind and fair and all that other bullshit but yet he's going to throw all of us 'non-believers' into a fiery Hell... Sounds REALLLL kind to me, ya know? Yeah it's bullshit just like the Bible. Ok anyway, even though I don't believe in God, or any religion, this song just gives me chills everytime I love it haha. |

Or instead of you guys' opinion about EVERYTHING having to do with religion ._. I believe that a song is whatever you make out of it, and ok you guys think it's about Atheists, I'm atheist and this really doesn't seem like it connects to me... I don't blame everything, ANYTHING for that matter on Christians. I just don't believe in God. This song could be about someone betraying someone over and over and over again until finally they just give up. I'm probably going to get flamed for saying this but whatever, it happens. That's just my view of it. |
