I'm sure the video says "girl" the whole time. This is basically a song about how theses people take steps in there relationship. In the end they do everything together even when they "might" break up they are still next to each other. "When the conversation stops, and we're facing our defeat" "I'll be next to you and you'll be right there next to me" but i also don't know if he is letting her make all the decisions? |

I'm a little unsure of what the last lines mean: "So this is your maverick" "And this is Vienna" A maverick is defined as "somebody who holds independent views and who refuses to conform to the accepted or orthodox thinking on a subject." I guess it could mean that the narrator is stubborn and remains unchanged in his decision to leave. I guess Vienna could represent the city where he does not want to conform to anymore. Even though this city is beautiful the memories there are haunting for the narrator. I might be a little off. If you can maybe give me a better explanation of it that would be nice. Great song! |
