I LOVE this song, just saw the official music video which looks amazing as well. Skillet is such an amazing band. When I listened to the song I tried to take a couple different meanings with it. I think it can mean someone coming to terms with themselves and accepting who they are and what they can do to help others and also help themselves. Since they are christian, the song would obviously be talking about God. But after watching the video, I think it's also talking about other hero's in the world like the firemen, and police and army etc...also saying everyone has a hero in them. Also for some reason whenever I listen to this song, I think about the United Airlines Flight 93; where the passengers fought back against the hijackers. |

| This song is really beautiful in a sad depressing sort of way. I can defiantly relate to this song. It does sound like a guy promised his girl they'd be together forever and unfortunately he lied and left her or hurt her in some way. | |

This is my favorite Celtic woman song. I LOVE IT!!! As for interpretation I'm not really sure. It can be a type of Grandmother to Granddaughter song. Or just a woman who is getting to by a spirit. I never really thought of what the meaning would be. Though it sounds a lot like it's Mother Nature when I hear this. |

YAY first comment. I Love this song. I found it one day and can't stop listening to it. I always thought the lyrics where. "No you can give you, not when you've come this far. No you can't give up" but I guess I was wrong. But really this song is truly amazing. |

I love this song, it's my favorite song from Vanessa. I don't know what yhappens, but everytime I hear it it just takes me away. Just a day, just an ordinary day Just tryin' to get by. "He was looking to the sky, I really think that means he was more then what he seemed, he lived for life every day of his life. I think that this song chronicles a one day basis, I think that's why it's called Ordinary Day, the day started out simple but as it went farther things just started to get more exciting etc... that's just what I pick up from this song, probably not the actual meaning. |

I don't know why but the first time I heard this I see the story of the song like this: A love triangle: A girl loves a boy, who doesn't love her. Another guy loves the same girl, but she doesn't love him back. I think it switchs POV's in the song: He loves me (Girl's POV: The guy who loves her) He loves me not (Girl's POV: The guy who doesn't love her) She loves me ( the guy who doesn't love her POV) She loves me not (the guy who does love her POV) Sorry if that's confusing to anyone. Just my opinion of the song from when I first heard it. |

I love this song. I think it's about a relantionship that broke up and the guy is remembering all the good times and is hoping that the girl thinks about their good times as well. Wants her to promise that she won't forget about them. It's really a beautiful song. This is a great band |

I love this song, I heard it one day and knew I just had to get it. I think it's pretty simple what it means. Like StilleNachT said. About a woman in a relantionship, where the man is holding her back. And just like a wolf who drives to be free and wild. The girl in the song wants to be set free an have fun. I LOVE the way she howls in the song and the panting noises, it makes it seem ALOT more realistic and like the person is being held b ck and just wants to let everything go |
