| Even though it's about drugs and coming out of the hole they've kept the person in, this song could apply to almost any hopeless situation. That's what I love about it. The "lift me back up to the sun, I choose to live," line is so powerful. Very nice interpretation. Even though that's Yoni's reason for the song, I for some reason see it completely differently. I kind of take the first part more literally for some reason. It makes me feel a certain way that I can't really explain. |
