| Atreyu – So Wrong Lyrics

One of my favorite Atreyu songs ever! Sounds sort of like "Lose it" off of Lead Sails, but pumped up! I think it's about someone finding out that everything they thought was right was wrong, and that they're trying to change but can't. |

No... it's not. This OVERTLY and CLEARLY expresses that it is about God. We MUST TURN TO GOD. "Innocent" does not clearly state GOD. Sound the same, same content... different meaning. And that makes all the difference. Also, maybe you should listen to "Bounce":
No more hate, no more lies, no more politics.
NO MORE FAKES, THAT CRY OVER COPIED RIFFS!!!!
Get over it... |

I LOVE this song... definitely the best on the album... which, frankly... sucked. But that's all good in my book because anyone that headbangs to God is awesome no matter how pale their music is compared to their last album... which rocked. Anyway... I think Foreverhis888 is the closest so far. I personally think this song is about someone, Trevor, for example, who undergoes a great revelation after being cold and indifferent toward God for a long time. He got too wrapped up in this life and all of its temptations that he began to do something almost everyone short of Priests and Nuns does: He picked this world over God's. And then suddenly, something happened to hurt his feelings: for example, bullying, or being made fun of. He realized that everyone he meets, everyone he's ever known will not be in his mortal life forever. His parents will, most likely, be dead long before he dies. And so he realizes that the only relationship that truly matters, the only relationship that will be with him throughout his entire life on earth is the relationship between himself and God. Nobody is more important than God. And so he wants the closest relationship as possible with God. As it should be. |

| Breaking Benjamin – Anthem Of The Angels Lyrics

I can see where some of these theory's come from... mainly: A.) dealing with the death/almost dead B.) Dealing with a relationship and C.) dealing with Alzheimer's. For the most part, I like to think of it as interpretation A, because that makes it a true Anthem. But, evidence points towards interpretation C. Yes, interpretation C. Note that he dedicated the album to his late grandfather... and also note that's all we know about his late grandfather. It is possible, if not likely, that his grandfather could have suffered from Alzheimer's. This means that his grandfather was basically only his grandfather in appearance. His memory is dead, and he is the equivalent of a very small child. Now, the only other evidence I have to support this interpretation is the cover. The cover is a brain scan. Alzheimer's is a severe disease in the brain. This could be a coincidence.
Before you comment, please also note that I know that all of my evidence can also support interpretation A. I also firmly believe that not every song in the world can be about a relationship, and people that believe this song is are stretching it pretty thin. |

| Breaking Benjamin – Dear Agony Lyrics

Although most of BB's songs seem satanic/atheist (no offense to any satanists/atheists out there) I like to thing BB has a lighter side. The message I got, particularly in the first verse, is that he is talking to God, asking for forgiveness. He wants nothing to do with the Agony that God has forced against him. He wants to turn his back on the devil and enter the world of light. He doesn't want to suffer anymore. That's my interpretation, it's probably wrong, but oh well... once again no offense to satanists/atheists. |

I agree with the theory that his girlfriend/wife/love interest is dead. That would explain the contradiction of the lyrics "Don't waste your time on me" and "I miss you." It would also explain the dark mood of the song |

I believe that this song is about being stuck... with no way out in sight. It MAY, and I know that tying yet another song on this CD to cancer is annoying, be about the long uphill battle out of Andrew's cancerous state. He's talking about how tired he is and the pain he is going through... and there's still a HUGE hill left to climb. And he's wondering if he can do it. He's wondering whether he can climb the hill or not... but first he has to climb out of the shadow of cancer and face the painful, fiery sky, and push himself to bear with the pain before he can pass through it... Just a thought :) |

I remember I first heard this song after I got in a big fight with my Mom. It opened my eyes to everything my Mother ever did for me and how much she loved me, and especially how much it would hurt if she passed away. Now every time I listen to this song I have to hold back the tears. Great song, though. |

This cover is definitely better than the original. This sounds like a slow, dark song about fighting your personal demons. The original sounds more like Lady Gaga on shrooms. |

I think it's about not forgetting who you were before you became famous. Most famous people act entirely opposite of how they acted when they weren't famous. It's one of the leading causes of a band's split. It's what happened to Blink-182. But I can see now why they wrote this song. Their indefinite hiatus is probably due to them wanting to find who they were again before jumping back on stage. Just my thoughts though... probably the same as everyone elses |

I'm pretty sure it's about the 9/11 terrorist attacks... Because no one expected it and killed 3,000 innocent people. But it's more like they're looking back on it after several years than immediately following, like "Believe." It's more about the resulting war than about the terror of the attacks themselves. |

| Yellowcard – Martin Sheen Or JFK Lyrics

This song actually contains multiple references to the movie "The Goonies." For instance, when they are in the wishing well one of them spouts out "George Washington, Abe Lincoln, Martin Sheen," "That's not Martin Sheen that's Kennedy you idiot." "Yeah, well he played Kennedy once."
The other reference occurs in the chorus: In the same scene, Mouth says "Yeah, well this one was my wish... and it didn't happen. So I'm taking it back. I'm taking them all back."
