I agree that this song, and many on this record, are religous in nature. I think common Christian themes of ressurection, forgiveness, confession, etc. show up on almost every track (Awake My Soul features "In these bodies we will live, in these bodies we will die, where you invest your love, you invest your life; White Blank Page features "Can you kneel before the king, and say 'I'm clean, I'm clean'").

This is one artful band. Along with contemporaries like Augie March, Mumfor & Sons is elevating the pop something to something worthy of critical analysis. As a cohesive album, "Sigh No More" is in the company of The The's "Dusk" and Gillian Welch's "Time the Revelator" in terms of cohesion, beauty and importance. I want more...
