Me and my best friend listen to this song when we're getting stoned. We have come up with lots of things the song could be about. "Your original live your own path Your original got your own way" For us this was about people trying telling themselves that they're original and lead they're own way, kids trying to convince themselves that they ARE different and special. It was also about the way you feel when your stoned lol, this might have been because we were at the time (XD) : "Images come thick and fast From the future, from the past" When we think about things, recall dreams and discuss life. "Will it ever be the same again? I need to hear that again Because a dream starts, and a dream must end." This is about us discovering things about life through music, and trying to find a conclusion or answer to our questions. |

I thought it was about life, i went really deep into it and started describing how it's about people only living their lifes by halfs and always holding back, never really letting go. Going into the hand is about when you die, your lifes over and you go into the hand of God or whatever it is that comes after life. LOL. Well that was a stoned persons intake on the song. <3 |

When i first heard this song I thought it was about a guy who never lets her get close. Every time they do, he runs away. But then I realised it was deeper than that, it's not a love song, it's about a close friend who killed themselves. I love when she says: "You made youself a bed at the bottom of the blackest hole, and convinced yourself that it's not the reason you don't see the sun any more." I can relate this too so many people I know in my life who have just buried themselves into this dark place in their lives, and refused to believe they are to blame. It hurts the people who love them to see this. And it looks like Haileys friend never pulled themselves out of that place, he/she took the easy way out instead: "Oh I, I never saw it coming Oh, oh, I need an ending So why can't you stay just long enough to explain?" Its a sad song, but I love it <3 |
