I really don't think that this song is about God. Its about a girl... You can't physically stand beside God, what he describes is something much more than a connection between man and God. its too beautiful to be about religion. It represents the most deepest, profound love between man and woman,, "How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you" Ive experienced this feeling, when u simpy stand beside your boyfriend* and be so in love with him and so in awe of him and how he makes you feel that it moves you completely. I know Lifehouse are a christian band but this does not mean all their songs are about God. |
