I love the 'broken roof' part, such a great metaphor for that feeling of limbo.... Halfway between the gutter and the stars... And also the 'stubborn youth' metaphor. Love is like that - insistent and pushy and likely to throw a tantrum when denied - no matter how damaging to your heart that may be. |
