This song is about a lost loved one. It can be interpreted as Romantic or Sentimental. Take your pick. "Do you want in to the outside..." is a reference to the great beyond but could also be interpreted as estrangement. "Nobody's hoping for better days. No one knows what to do..." is describing the despair and unfamiliarity of such a loss. "It might save time if I meet you there, but I don't care I'd rather wait for you." is describing the feeling of wanting to die but instead having to go on with life without seeing this person again. Acceptance of the loss. This song is incredibily poetic. RIP Jeremy. |
