Well, I agree with the people who say its more generic than about one thing. I think it was about his expirience with new york, It just paints a pretty New York picture to me. I think that of course it has alot of drug use implied in it, but I don't think it's about drugs, i think it's just about that time in his life, he might have used drugs then. As to the in the bathroom thing, I do think it could be either, he is just documenting what is happening. My favorite part is When everything is lonely I can be my own best friend Get a coffee and the paper Have my own conversations With the sidewalk and the pigeons And my window reflection because like somebody says it reminds me of myself And I'm not a drug addict. |
