This song is so beautiful it hurts... First time I heard this, I couldn’t fully understand what he’s talking about. You have to experience loss (of any sort, I agree this could be about a lost friendship, but I think it’s about a long lost girlfriend) to completely relate to it. “I tried so hard to follow, but didn't catch the half of what had gone wrong [...] I realized that the one you were before, had changed into somebody for whom I wouldn't mind to put the kettle on” Fortunately, Time clears most of the shit up. |
