I agree with you! This is undoubtedly a love affair... He lays it all out on the line for her, loves her to no end "I'm bare boned and crazy for you" When he is holding her he knows she feels the same "In your eyes, love, it glows so", but theres someone else in the way... "Whos got their claws in you my friend" and thats why he forever feels like he is watching her "through the window" He knows that he will continue to let her use him though, even though it hurts "You've got your ball, you've got your chain,tied to me tight,TIE ME UP AGAIN" so he waits for her because he knows that in that moment when they make love...its so perfect. So incredibly perfect that its like a "boys dream" I think at this point though...she is trying to distance herself from him for maybe her societal commitments to her husband if she has one??? She feels that maybe she is in too deep and she has to get out... and thats when he says "If I've gone overboard then I'm begging you to forgive me" He saying he doesnt care if she has to distance herself, he doesnt mind that she cant see him as much, as long as she will see him at all...
