This is probably my favorite Haste The Day song. I think that this song is about a girls who made terribe mistakes in her life but through the grace and mercy of god she is forgiven and let into the heaven. "you try to spit at the sun, put it out like a burning ember." I think this means she is anti-jesus "she has a porcelain soul." She is actually really frigile. "'Cause the life you live is less than alive." the way she is living isn't the way she should live. "As they scream 'let them burn,' you know you'll burn at the hands of your kin" It means that they(family included) want to just condem her. "She crawls through the dirt like a four legged spider. He's there layind beside her when the serpents tounge is wrapped around her neck." I think this is where she finally starts to realize that her life is "less than alive." Basically she is like going through hell in her life, But god is right there with her through all of it, even when "the serpents tounge is wrapped around her neck" (satan has a hold of her). "Open hands hold porcelain souls." Open hands are the hands of god to his children. "into the eyes of a traitor, I still see a believer. The witness is here." Although she's done some messed up stuff, god can still see she is a believer, and he is the witness of it. "She's a witch and I love here." I think this is god saying although she has done bad things I still love here nevertheless. "Buy back the soul with the blood of the savior." This refers to the attonement, jesus buying back ours souls with his blood. "Is it too much to forgive?" A good question if you ask me. "The witness is here." the witness once again is god. "She falls to her knees and she begs for forgiveness." She is begging for forgiveness for all of her sins. "As the hevens open their gates, the wood burns and the fires blaze, but he boughtt back her soul with the blood of the savior" God forgives her and her soul is bought back with the blood of the savior. She goes to heaven. |

| These lyrics are wrong. I actually got a chance to meet stephen from haste the day and my friend and I asked him about these lyrics. It says "As you crawl under the moon, Make it hurt." and also it isn't "at the hands of your king" its "at the hands of your KIN," (as in your family). And it isn't "open all the voiceless souls, into the ears of a traitor i still see a believer" its "Open hands hold porcelain souls, into the eyes of a traitor I still see a believer." Im not even correcting anymore of it because its so wrong. | |

| I love how it says "This is your one destraction weakening your ability to grow so you'll push yourself further away." I can totally relate to that, and how if you have something destracting you, or preventing you from your eternal progression progression you need to push yourself further away from it. | |
