Well I have always taken it as the girl being the center of his universe. Everything he experiences is centered around her. One can argue he is using "horizons" as the five senses of man: Sight, Hearing, Taste, Smell, Touch. And that his senses are totally focused on her. That is how see it, but who knows what Eddie's true intention was. |

My take on this song (which I love) is about a beautiful woman going wild (she is a "Force of Nature") and partying all night while her lover/husband is at home hoping she will come home. The "Betterman" of the new album, just with gender reversal. I believe the last line is "But his heart don't seem to roam." He is being faithful to her despite her wild ways.
