| Noah Gundersen – Jesus, Jesus Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| I really enjoyed this song one of the people in my college group learned how to play it and showed me this song and I had to find it for myself afterwards but this song was very well written and musically great and NG has a great voice and I can relate to this song cause for years and years now my dad has been saying worlds ending these people are evil those people are evil and I was raised that way and it was not till I started to think for myself(as all Christians and all people should do) I realized how much negativity I have made cause of what I believe and I wanted to change that and it left me with a lot of the questions in this song and I was have a lot of feelings that this song has cause I am only 20 and even though I say I dont want to I want to grow old and have a family and I want to have a great adventure I want all these things that I cant get if the world does end... All and all I had to get my parents to sign a consent form because this song took me on a feels trip, | |

I think its about the band and raising up in the local scene... I can personally relate to this cause I am in a underground band myself. I heard them calling in the distance So I packed my things and ran Far away from all the trouble I had caused with my two hands Alone we traveled on with nothing but a shadow We fled far away I think thats about going on tour and seeing the world And as I looked around, I began to notice That we were nothing like the rest I think is him realizing they sound nothing like bands that they listened to or play with |

i think its about drugs or at least some kinda substance of the kind i think so because "every night she walks the block to trade her time for cheap thrills" and "For now he felt like he belonged to those who understood him But he sold his soul to fight right in and he watched his friends desert him" i can not tell you how many people i know who got in to drugs/alcohol were left by all the real friends they had i feel like the rest of the song follows in that direction... but thats my 2 cents on it |

| when i saw them live he talked about how when he was 18 he was having sex with his best friends wife and his best friend found out his wife was cheating on him and he did not find out with who killed him self and he and the guy felt like he murdered his best friend so he had a gun to his own head and he thought well if i am going to do this i should pray about it 1st and his prayer was God i do not believe in you and i hate your poeple but if your real then do something about this so he then pulled the trigger and the gun jamed so i think this song is a review of this whole part of his life before he was a Christan | |
