| I agree with many of the comments above, but here is my take: He is captivated with a woman who has built a wall because of past hurt. She hides behind this wall (and perhaps unnatural actions, i.e., sarcasm, giving the impression that she is a sinner) in an effort to avoid being hurt again. He relates to her on a emotional level and wants to help her find happiness and comfort in love again. There is an emotional connection in this song that really touches me, it's a fantastic track. | |
