My GF went to some school production the other night and saw Lady Macbeth. She said the opposite of you, Col. Sanders. My GF said she was perfect in her role. She even asked my GF in her severe Scottish accent, how she was "dOOOing". Like she CARES. Anyhooo, she was everything Lady Macbeth is cracked up to be, my GF said. COld, witchy and perfectly in character. Sounds like she was meant for that role. |

Maybe I am strange, but I have always thought this song was about a neighbor of his that he loved. I think he felt far away from her, even though she was less than a mile on down the road. "Don't the night pass slow" + ""I am just living to be lying by your side" Those are my favorite lines in this song. Definitely one of my favorite Stones songs ever. |
