He describes the problem, that he is not satisfied with the way his life has turned out and that is dragging him down, he realizes that no one is perfect and he should not lead a life of regrets, so he decides to rise above his problem and accept his life as it is. |

I am the chosen one left hand of all that is sacred - left hand of god? usually means that the said person is the one who does all the dirty work, ie. killing ppl or things, ever watch Van Helsing? he was deemed the left hand of god, and he killed dracula, and acording to the story alot of other evil demons or some sutch, the left and of god is gabriel, one of the arch angles, apparently sam thinks she is sent by god to kill everyone and wipe the planet clean for the second coming, They're waiting for the second coming again - second coming, christ's second coming, ie. the end of the world+zombies, this sound familiar? what do you think? |

i think its about a relationship also, however, i think that she is using him. or somewhat of the like. he likes her but he is not reciveing the same affection back in turn. Ha, 1st post. Love this song, easy to understand, goes back to that old saying "don't judge a book by its cover". Seems like he is using this song to express his fealings bout pretty chicks who use people for fame, money, ect. How they might look pretty on the outside "If I tear you open wide, take a look inside" but they are really just in it for greed and not the other person "So just take off that disguise, everyone knows that you're only Pretty on the outside" |

i think these are correct lyrics, i think he is talking about the end of the world, either that or the whole song is a hpyothesis for ones life ending and the dragon fly symbolizes that persons soul escaping. I think this song has something to do with a person leaving a relationship of some sort, presumably a guy leaving a girlfriend. “I can’t believe your face as I’m walking away” maybe he can’t understand why they look so surprised as to why they are being left “This image in my mind I can’t erase” something the girlfriend did to seriously piss the guy off, lies, cheating, both? “It's taken from the hands of fate (I can’t believe your fate)” it’s out of his control, what is don’t is done, (he can’t believe that this happened, or that she would do what she did) “This sorrow implicates” “An understanding of my hate (These words you can’t erase)” his sadness shows to himself how much he hates what has happened, it shows how much he is pissed off about it, (he can’t forget what she said that was hurtful or wrong to him) “Pure black inside” simple, he has grown cold, angry, depressed, hate has consumed him, empty “Right now I’m facing the end” he is at sanity’s end, facing the end of the relationship, end of that chapter of his life, maybe going to kill her or himself “Holding back the reason while you stare” I think that this is describing her, she is watching him walk away from her, leave her, and she can’t say why she is staring because I think she is realizing what she is losing and realizing that it was her fault “These eyes cannot repair” her watching, or staring at, him walk away won’t fix things and make/let him come back “Freedom shining through” he is free of her “Blind by all your fear” she doesn’t know what to do now that he is gone “It's taken from the hands of fate (I can’t believe your fate)” “This sorrow implicates” “An understanding of my hate (These words you can’t erase)” “Pure black inside” “Right now I’m facing the end” “Holding back the reason while you stare” “These eyes cannot repair” This is a rough interpretation, but I think I hit the nail on this one, if anyone has anything to add on it let me know. |

{“I may be crazy but I’m buried in your memory” he went crazy because he lost her, which is understandable, but he is saying that it was justified because it was a deep tear to him} going along with the song, i think that this was not an easy breakup, and usually after a harsh breakup the guy who is singing the song will go threw that phase where he is pissed off; mad, or sad he is very emotional, thats what i think crazy meant, i say that it was justified because she caused him to go loony, she is the one who hurt him, or tore him appart, i think the crazy part is a method of copeing with it in order to overcome, i hope that clears things up a bit nightmare, let me know otherwise. I think that "breedlove" was on the right track. I think that this is about a breakup, "Everything we are and used to be, Is buried and gone" is saying that the relationship is over. "Now it’s my turn to speak, It’s my turn to expose and release what’s been killing me." now that he has gotten over her, or is still in the process, he has a clear mind now and is going to expose what was really going on. "I’ll be damned fighting you its impossible impossible! Say goodbye with no sympathy!"
