i look at it this way. to me it seems like this song is about a guy who doesnt show and express his emotions very well (hence being called a robot). and hes scared to show his emotions and go out and live in the "real world". cuz hes maybe a loner or something.
"Hold on the weight of the world
Will give you the strength to go"
is basically telling him everything is going to alright and just go out and be yourself and live life. and that he can be strong an accomplish his goals. thats what i think lol |

100% agreed. it could also apply to what goes on in todays world. of course, overexaggerated and in different words, but still has that "wealth = power" mentality. |
