Protest the Hero – Tapestry Lyrics 14 years ago
I can be totally wrong and after reading the lyrics and the song is pretty much about futility and wasting your life, I still hear

"Cancer just keep falling out and Christians keep getting fatter" lol

Futility can be epic, PTH just proved that to me with their best song to this day.

Trivium – Into The Mouth Of Hell We March Lyrics 16 years ago
There's the part of life stuff and...
Global warming/Natural disasters.

It fits perfectly, "Melting skin even in the deluge" the North and South poles ice melting; "Hull is splitting" a big fucking earthquake"; "Dead God the fucking ship is sinking" the ship, being the Earth itself.

Although I believe that the life getting at you if you don't do something with it, it the true meaning of the song. But the natural disaster thing, I'm surprised no one though about it. It's just there!

Trivium – Shogun Lyrics 16 years ago
"There's not really a lot of cohesion from section to section, which to me was a problem with a lot of the lyrics on the album."

For me, honestly, Progressive is the take Trivium did right in this album!
I believe it's the way metal should be heading towards, right now.
Also, Shogun was definately my favorite 2008 song. Perhaps, even the album itself.
The calm part in the middle is totally put right in the song, "The pulse is now quickening", back to life, the heart sta"Look within to calm the storm

The calm part in the middle is totally put right in the song,
"The pulse is now quickening", back to life, the heart started pumping blood again after your insides won you.
"Look within to calm the storm, raging inside the form" 'The form', being our bodies/minds, exactly as theGrynch said.

I can't develop the idea more now, GTG.

Looking highly towards the next album!
