Okay, here is my opinion. The song is sang from the prospective of a military member and voices the frustration of knowing that they are dispensable. Going to war, killing people and dying for a cause that is unclear...but prolly something to do with money. I love this song. |

I absolutely love this song. I think it is about a girl who keeps having bad relationships with guys...until she finally meets the right one. Later she finds out that having a relationship isn't as easy as she thought it was going to be and wishes it was as romantic/exciting as it was in the beginning. Then she realizes that you can't change a person and you just have to accept them for who they are and do what it takes to make the relationship work. Just my opinion. |

I want to say this song came out right after the first Gulf War. The media was really into showing the "action" on the battlefield and everyone was in front of the TV watching it all unfold. To me, this song is saying that people are weak minded and believe anything the news or TV tells them, without question. |
