This is my opinion: It could mean that his girlfriend left him or they both broke it off. Also I think, a friend of his girlfriends was associated and it could also do with his addiction. Here why, first verse: I felt it turn to come and go don't worry no one ever knows I don't know why it just won't die It breaks me in to stay alive I know it hurt a lot like you C'mon I know that you felt it too He felt the need to break it, but it still hurts him that they broke up. It hurts the same and that's ok I never liked him anyway I know It could mean it hurts in both ways, the addiction and the girl and also he never likes the girlfriends friend anyway. And then etc etc, read it and understand the rest :P |
