i dont believe that (nerd-like) if anything, because its about literature, it would be more likely the reason AG used it than religion. he's made LOTS of songs based on literature
which is probably half why sometimes i dont get anything from his lyrics till years later hahaha
hmm...do you think AG would describe himself as a nerd? |

because Im a non denominational Christian and just a person who likes double meanings I've always taken this to be about God weather they wrote it about Him or not.. But like i said, i like double meanings, so recently I visited Canada, which has culture rich in Aborigines/ Inuits and i thought about the name of the album so this is what I think it means:
Twilight seems to mean more 'ambiguous' or 'obscure' and Armor made of stone makes me think of the inuksuk which is like Stonehenge only smaller and from the Inuits. I think the song is talking about the stories, similar to mythology that were passed down verbally through generations in that civilization. Some people forgot them, forgot bits and pieces and by the time some of the younger generation realized how important the stories were, it was too late and the writings they left behind don't tell as much about the past as those stories would have. so although we know a little bit, they are still a civilization shrouded in mystery.. with no Facebook.
well, ot would be cool if that's what it meant.. maybe I'll ask one day =] |
