This song was written by Alice for her boyfriend when she knew that she was dying from cystic fibrosis. It is about how she will continue to live inside of him and watch over him. It is so full of sadness yet also gives the hope that she will be able to live on as someone new. Know I'm there and remember me and let me live not remembering the pain and sickness, but as a new person. It is so powerful and full of extreme emotion, I can't help but be deeply moved every time I hear it. Such a sad loss to the world. |
