Nickelback – Shakin' Hands Lyrics 16 years ago
Makin' six figures = Making over $100,000.
Workin' three days a week = what it says on the can.

Basically, she's getting paid an exorbitant amount of money in a really short time.

You can figure it out from there. ~suggestive themes! Eghads!~

Toby Keith – Beer for My Horses Lyrics 16 years ago
It's just a saying dude. Takes maybe an ounce of brainmatter to realize that. ~rolls eyes~

But nice try at ad hominem attacks. :) Maybe you'll have a point next time.

Fall Out Boy – This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race Lyrics 16 years ago
Oh, and you DO realize this song was directed right at opinions like that that you posted right there...you realize that don't you? it's like you are almost a physical embodiment of who they were aiming that song at...

Also, the punk rock scene...if you really think you're a part of it...hate to say this, but you're 20 or 30 years too late...the pop-punk scene is what you are a member of...after all, that's all FOB has ever been is pop-punk. The true punk scene has been dead a long time.

Fall Out Boy – This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race Lyrics 16 years ago
You think Fall Out Boy is real punk? o_O??? Seriously? That's like saying blink-182 is real punk...

Look, true punk is something most fans of FOB will not like. Go look up The Sex Pistols, 7 Seconds, etc. Those are real punk bands. (blank generation). Honestly, I'm not a fan or true punk.

I don't mind this song. Not the best, but not anywhere close to the worst. Average song on an average album. ~shrug~ I can't decide if the lyrics are complete gibberish or a carefully constructed deconstruction of people who claim everything should stick to the scene that they came from. ~shrug~

Counting Crows – 1492 Lyrics 16 years ago
Creation of racism? Bull. Racism was not created by Christopher Columbus coming to America.

Sure, his arrival led to the decimation of an entire nation of peoples and cultures, (no, not the Africans, that wasn't until the Dutch brought them over way later...Spaniards used Natives as slaves and didn't treat them nearly as well as blacks were treated.) At least Africans are still around to complain about their treatment. 99% of all Natives have been wiped out completely, a more efficient genocide has never been duplicated elsewhere.

Either way, racism was around LONG before Columbus. You could not be further wrong, in that aspect. If you want proof, look at Egyptian history.
