| I totally agree with "creamofthecrop" but I always believed the meaning of a song depends on current events of your life. For example, my first time love and I, didnt talk for almost 5 years, In that lapse of time I got married and got a baby, he married and his wife got pregnant, when she was pregnant we stared talking again, and he told me about his marriage crisis and how unhappy he was since he broke up on 2001 our 7 years relationship wich stared when I was 14, I'm 30 now. Now we're best friends but I still have feelings for him, ya know, those first highschool sweetheart love kind of feelings and I just dedicated this song to him like telling him: All right, we had the time of our lives and u cut me off for stupid issues to go pursuit your happinnes and look at you know...did u make it to the milkyway??...lol and That phrase: drops of jupiter in her hair is kind of "she is back after all this years with this grey hair"...that remids me so much of my first love coming back 3 years ago... | |

I love this song...makes me wanna dance every time I listen to it, gets me in a good mood. It's very sexy also if you pay attention to the lyrics, just desire. I like to think it's about to people who are atracted to each other, maybe at the beggining of a relationship, that period when you are about to make love to somebody for the first time, think the couple on the song it's about to get to that point, while they get there they're keeping their private feelings in the closet. The title is kind of disturbing though, I agree with vlkyria, dont know if he was naive of pretended to be naive. He was just genius. |
