on the Konk CD album there's a list of the song's on it, but they've only written down 12 tracks. This is the last written down track on the album, and then All Over Town is played afterwards, which is the hidden track. The silence is there because to hear the hidden track you have to wait a while after this song ends. It's like putting in the extra work to get the reward at the end. You don't expect there to be an extra track after this, so it's a cool surprise. And where the hell can I get Rak? Should be on iTunes |

I love how Luke still manages to sound gorgeous even when he's saying such obvious things like 'I will do my best/ Just to get under her dress'.
And I thought the loaded gun here was to do with sex (as in the guy...u get me?), like the gun in Eddie's Gun.
"I don't know if he
Wants my soul or my
Cash flow" - and then if the loaded gun is what i just said it is, he's basically being led by his sexual desires, which are making him act in an insensitive way to the girl's feelings - making him feel guilty about it, therefore taking his soul. Dunno about the cash flow bit. I'm really just theoreticising how it all ends up in my head |

This song affects me to such a ridiculous amount, its embarassing. But I love it. I agree with heyna85, you can just feel this song, Luke Pritchard is such a brilliant singer/songwriter. AAHH its weird this song makes me love my boyfriend more. The video is just perfect too. |

This song is so beautiful. Luke's voice and lyrics always sound poetic. I agree that it's about losing their fathers. Maybe 'breaking down the corners of the world' is just getting on and exploring their lives without their fathers to guide them - testing their limits by themselves?
I would guess the 'see your mother' line is about their father's seeing their own mothers in heaven (or whatever is up there). I love that bit. When I listen to the song I still imagine it's about a girl because it feels romantic, and I always like the closeness of asking someone how their mother is.
The last verse is just the best though, especially the changing the lyrics right at the end. |

Becuase he's a singer in a band, he's saying that the whole performance and drama of his life is playing out backstage, where the girl he likes is hanging out, rather than on the stage of the gig they're playing. |
