| I thought Oed himself made the decision to leave, because he didn't want to kill his dad and marry his mom? Weren't his adopted parents fairly supportive, considering? I think you're probably right about him missing his adoptive mother, but I think that the fact that she's not the one mentioned in the prophecy makes the song amazinger. Because since she's not alienating him (she knows she's not his mom), he's alienating himself for no good reason. It's that tragic misunderstanding sort of thing that amd eme love the play. | |

I think the point of this song isn't that he gets sick of the relationships, but about how the girls are crazy in love with him before he even thinks about that. They fall like dominos- easily and in great numbers. It's deliciously egotistical. And is it just me, or does he say "kames" instead of "makes"? What is that, verbal dyslexia? |
