Bowling for Soup – Much More Beautiful Person Lyrics 16 years ago
Favorite BFS song, 99 Biker Friends close second. I really liked the direction BFS was going in with Great Burrito Extortion Case, since I figured they were gonna go into a more serious vein, but Sorry for Partyin' was so disappointing, very fluffy, extremely immature. Oh well, at least BFS had their good moments.

Bowling for Soup – BFFF Lyrics 16 years ago
This song was so disappointing. Sorry for Partyin' was extremely disappointing, but especially BFFF. It's like, how could the same person who sang A-Hole, Ridiculous (Looking Up), 99 Biker Friends, MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL PERSON for the love of God, sing this? "You felt my girlfriend's brand new boobs You asked to suck them she refused"? Like, what?

Adam Lambert – Pick U Up Lyrics 16 years ago
This is probably my favorite song from FYE, the vocals are TERRIFIC and I can't get over the "someone to be my loverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" that he hits, oh! I wuv Adam :) This is the best, lyrics are nice, about how you just want to leave and do it with someone.

Adam Lambert – For Your Entertainment Lyrics 16 years ago
This is a song about rough sex, plain and simple, not necessarily gay. Interesting interpretations, though...but it's rather clear that it's about S&M. The chipmunk version's hilarious.

Adam Lambert – Aftermath Lyrics 16 years ago
I love this song! It's so uplifting. I think with Adam singing it, it's meant as a gay-themed "be comfortable with your homosexuality" thing, but in general it can just be that you're not the only one, you can admit how you feel about anything.

Pink – Ave Mary A Lyrics 16 years ago
I'm an Orthodox Jew, so I never knew about the "Ave Maria" thing, but when I first heard the song, I thought the "Mary" she's referring to was someone who killed herself ("How did you know to get out of a world gone mad?").

After reading this page and listening to the song again, my new interpretation of the song is that she feels lost in this world with all the awful things going on.

In the first verse, when she says "Houston I think we've got a problem," I don't thinks he's picking on Houston, I think she's just saying the traditional NASA "Houston, I need xxx."

In the second verse, I can't think of a reason she's picking on London for hating to fast and loving too slow, unless she's talkng about all the people in the olden days who were murdered in the Tower of London and all that, but I think that's a little stretchy.

In the fifth verse, the only reason I can think of that she's talking about Tokyo in relation to suicide bomber and a student shot is because that Virginia Tech guy (who was South Korean, btw) who killed all those students in the Virginia Tech Massacre.

Not a foggy notion why she's picking on Cape Town.

I think this song is virtually about how she's seeing the world's deterioration and is freaking out and can't believe God is doing this to us, and needs reassurance..."I need you to tell me/Child be still." Also, it's about her own dealings with evil and the world "The devil that hounds me."
