| HaHa... LOL... my kids still kid my wife because we set her up with that one... we turned it way up in the car when that part came up... it is a little evil sounding but I think the truth is we all live with different "Monsters" inside us that are that scary and the best thing we can do is get them out into the light -|-- :) | |

This reminds me of my favorite quote from Martin Luther... "Simul justus et peccator"... Latin for “simultaneously righteous and sinner”... my translation... “Sinful by human nature but forgiven thru Christ.” Romans 7:4-6 (New Living Translation) No Longer Bound to the Law 4 So, my dear brothers and sisters, this is the point: You died to the power of the law when you died with Christ. And now you are united with the one who was raised from the dead. As a result, we can produce a harvest of good deeds for God. 5 When we were controlled by our old nature,[b] sinful desires were at work within us, and the law aroused these evil desires that produced a harvest of sinful deeds, resulting in death. 6 But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit. |

I love Skillet.... I don't know if he meant to do it but he basically spoke the words of an addict or more appropriate a fallible human... We often feel like Paul when he said, “I don’t understand why I act the way I do. I don’t do what I know is right. I do the things I hate. Although I don’t do what I know is right, I agree that the law is good.” (Romans 7:15, 16) |
