This song is easy. It's simply about how Dallas laying awake at night self analysing himself and worrying about the things he can't control. He's stating that a lot of people use alcohol to quite their worries and fears. Alcohol also puts people to sleep. It's a well known fact that Dallas dosen't drink. This song is about Dallas questioning whether or not it would be easier to be an alcohol and let the bottle releive his fears and worries. I think it's just a thought that passes his mind nothing that he's actually serious about. |

This song is about a time in Dallas's life where he was unfair to other's and quite possibly himself. It's quite obvious that he regrets these actions. He is singing about this time in his life and stating that "his verdict has come in" stating that he recognizes these sins and the problems they caused others and himself. I in no way think that this song has anything to do with his self consciense writing. |
