this song just reminds me of childhood and how you would work out all these ridiculous plans in your head (like freeing all the animals from the zoo) and would think that they are perfectly reasonable ideas "started to snow on Christmas Eve In the middle of the night Walking through the state park zoo And everything is white" just seems like pure childhood fantasy. it taps into that optimism and recklessness that we sometimes forget even ever existed there is probably much deeper meaning, but i'm struggling to find it!, |
