| The song is definitely one of the best as my Fantasy Football team. To me it's about dominance and just looking the storm in the eye and taking the bull by the horns. Look the storm (hurricane) in the eye. Get it done you know. Win the game. I wish other people would have made more of an effort to interpret this song. It appears nobody above really has. I just love when he says "Memory strumming at the heart of a moving picture." This is the best song off this album/CD to me. The line above is my favorite single moment in the entire CD. The song is about how we take too many chances and get out of tight spots so many times, but we work those angels overtime to get us out of jams. Angels are ministering spirits who watch over us. Bad angels are demons and they influence to do bad things. The archangel Lucifer was once the greatest, but he wanted to be like the most High, so he rebelled and the earth was destroyed. He became the devil and a third of the angels followed and they are designated demons. |

Great song just like all Rush songs, but none of you will ever truly get it. Well, someday you well. Heb. 11:6 The first article of faith. Without faith it is impossible to please him (God). In other words, Neil is definitely saying he is atheist. Anyway, Revelation 12:9 Satan has deceived the WHOLE world. He is also the author of confusion (II Cor. 4:4) which can be seen in many of the posts everywhere. Everybody is confused about religion and evolution and everything else. So the battle is being one Satan and the world appears to be destroying itself. Amazingly, more and more people are shoving "Evolution is a fact" down your throat and many seem to believe it. And then they say you are ignorant because you don't believe it. Everything is decaying so how could we be possibly be improving? The third law of thermodynamics disproves evolution. Anyway, don't argue with me about this just go on believe evolution. |

Yes, anybody who says Neil Peart is the 2nd worst lyricist is by far the stupidest person that has ever lived. I would live to critique that guy. He would wish he had never been born. Anyway, this song is genius. I understood it right away when I first heard it. I understood the song from the very beginning and thought of it every time I listened through Presto. Everything is an Anagram, so since most of you covered everything I will just refer to the line "He and she are in the house, but there is only me at home." Incredible lyric after incredible lyric by Neil Peart ripping apart writers from some magazine called Blender, or whatever it is. Anyway, columnists only job is to make people mad. They do not care about accuracy, it is just opinion anyway. One thing is for sure, if you are being critiqued, that means you are good or great and somebody is trying to bring you down. The ultimate state actually is to be overrated. I am sure the guy at Blender Magazine also probably overrated some truly horrible lyricist. He/She is just trying to bring somebody up who has no business being there. |
