she makes me think of tim burton in a lot of ways, you've got this girl with a gothy image, and instead of the typical mournfullness of other gothy bands, she's fairly cheerful (minus love is dead and bulletproof) so its kind of this, well, for lack of a better term 'creepy-cuteness' and i think this song could very well be about her. i dont know too much about her, but it still fits. love is dead was the second cd i bought simply because i liked the cover art. the first was within temptations heart of everything. :D so far? great decisions. |

I sort of agreed with Mhorton, maybe she's not having a crisis of faith so much, but discovering truth? that organized religion puts so much of each persons personal beleifs and spins on it that by the time it gets to you, its all out of wack, so maybe we need to get ourselves out of 'religion' and find that truth. |

my favorite song, mostly for how personal it feels to me. at first glance i felt like an ocean soul, because i feel a draw to water, like if not for the need for air, i would actually be a water creature of some sort. but looking closer, i see that inability to connect with people, maybe you've hurt people simply because you dont know how NOT to, the ocean is mysterious, impenetrable, timeless, sometimes cruel and beautiful. thank you for giving us a name so fitting and beautiful. |
