| I think this song can be interpreted in multiple ways, but for me, this song is about an undesired breakup. It means that you just want anything and everything from the other person, you miss them so much that you can't stop thinking about them, craving for their presence, for the impossible - "all I want is all that i can't get". It then talks about feeling worthless without the other person - you feel that you no longer deserve anything more in life, that "all you've got isn't of real worth". But the chorus is all about getting through it, about needing to put those thoughts to rest before they consume you, to stop dwelling in the past, to refuse to think that way. But again, I think one reads what one wants to read, and I guess that's just what it means to me right now. | |
