The topic can go deeper but the song is about being alone with others around you still.. i belive. The word lonely means ,'lacking companions or companionship' what is a companion though... a friend.. a lover... a brother.. (ha! had to rhyme) Companion is someone to share pains, joys , and all other emotions that you experience on the journey we call life. If someone doesn't share/care are they a companion? No... so you are so lonesome.. |

"think the point of the song is to show the plight of "trailer trash". these people are not at all trashy, and they love each other very much. they are just stuck in a financial situation that has them traped in a trailer home and a truck." to quote veronda Veronda is correct. the song sets the tone of what you should learn as you get older.. There is no 'titles' what you would call white trash I would call "Good People" Its trying to show how these people are trying to make what they can out of life and enjoy what they have. The song could be called "Homeless Family Beautiful" just as well.. If you believe people are products of their environment than any person who grew up poor wouldn't become famous... but we know that's not true... The poor, the rich, the unseen... all people are people... that are beautiful... This song is a romantic song about what love is... Remember "to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish" I think alot of people now days don't understand what love is and mistake their lust for love. ( I can go far enough to bet that almost no one here has been inlove... you have what divorced 4 times? uh huh) |

To understand the song we must first look at the words very close. The people are real on both sides and are generally non violent people "With no army, and no pistol" , and many times to rebel or to fight off the suppressing government children, men, and women will pick up stones and fight back with only thing they have against tanks and bombs. Everlast doesn't hide the meaning, it tells a story.. a story of truth and injustice...
