THANK YOU! I think your interpretation is the closest and most accurate. I have a very similar theory as well. He mentions realizing "It's right before my eyes" which means he acknowledges he has feelings for this girl. The only thing that stopping him is cold feet. He's wondering if he will have the time to put into a relationship (Maybe next year, I'll have no time, To think about the questions to address) or if she will end up searching for someone "better" than him (I wouldn't test you, I'm not the best you could have attained Why try anything?) He realizes she's getting impatient and wants a serious relationship (And I can tell just what you want. You don't want to be alone), but his own self doubt is keeping him from going through with it. |

| Björk – Cocoon Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Well no doubt she talks about sex in this song but i think the main point is when she says "Who would have known, that a boy like him, after sharing my core, would stay going nowhere". Guys are known for hitting and quitting but she's saying even after he had sex with her ("after sharing my core") he still stayed with her afterward ("would stay going nowhere"). I'm pretty sure thats why she keeps saying "Who would've known." It's unusual to her that this "boy" is still with her so she's admiring him and their sexual moments together. | |

Hmm to me sex is a part of it but not the main part. She's saying she can't believe that this guy who she had sex with is still with her: Who would have known That a boy like him After sharing my core Would stay going nowhere She said "After sharing my core" which could mean sharing her body and such "Would stay going nowhere" which clearly meant he didn't leave in the morning like most guys would and usually do. She wasn't a one-night stand like most guys do |

I'm not exactly a Taylor Swift fan but I defitetely have to admit I do really like this song. Probably because it's something just about every girl has gone through in high school and definitely sympathizes with. I know when I heard this song for the first time it freaked me out a bit because it felt like she was talking about exactly what I went through when I was in high school. And when she said "you wish that you could tell yourself what you know now." I think she hit the nail right on the head. ^.^ |

Ooh great interpretation thanks for that. Never thought of it that way ^_^ Awesome song but I guess we'll never know exactly what Yukimi was thinking when she wrote it. |

| Little Dragon – Thunder Love Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Ooh this is my absolutely favorite song. It seems like she's just daydreaming about what seems like a forbidden love (since she said: "Im gonna love until the bitter end" | |

| Black Rebel Motorcycle Club – Done All Wrong Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I was thinking this meant how it seems like good people who try to do good things seem to have the hardest time in life and eventually die pretty young. Those who are wicked and always do bad seem to have all the luck and live the longest. It seems like bad things always happen to good people. | |

Oops accidentaly put my comment as a reply to Amoriko! Sorry didnt mean that lol...This is what I said: absolutely love this song. It makes you look at life more positively. Also love the way Scott Matthew sings. He's got such a sexy voice lol. This song is actually made by Yoko Kanno though isn't it? I think Scott is just the performer. Still a great song! :) |

| Eminem – Same Song and Dance Lyrics | 16 years ago |

He's not talking about literally raping girls you gotta look deeper than that. I'm pretty sure he's comparing the cons of fame to a rapist. Think about it, he starts out talking about Tanya who as far as we know isn't a celebrity, just a girl who's life was cruelly taken by a kidnapper and possibly raped. Then he talks about Lindsey Lohan and Britney Spears; both female and both had literally had their lives destroyed by selfish paparazzi and the steep price of fame. He acts like he's the sick rapist who ruins them but actually he's comparing himself (the sick rapist) to fame and what it does to young girls. Britney seemed to go crazy and shave her hair off while attacking paparrazi with an umbrella while lindsay is in and out of rehab and always in the public eye which isnt helping much That's why the song is called "Same song and Dance." That's why at the end he says "Same kicking and screaming, same begging and pleading, same song and dance." :) |

Ehhh I really don't think this song is about Bella and James...Think about when they played the song in the movie. Bella was in her room thinking about how Edward kept giving her the hate stare. I think the song is like Edward warning her what he is and what he will do (since he constantly sees himself as a monster.) I won't soothe your pain I won't ease your strain You've been waiting in vain I've got nothing for you to gain Its about their relationship and how Edward warns Bella he's no good for her. ("You've been waiting in vain. I've got nothing for you to gain.") |

If you watch the music video its a tad easier to see what the song is about. This is what I think its about: "Twice I turn my back on You. I fell flat on my face but didn't lose.": She's cheated with this man more than once even though both times it was harder for her to live without him. "Tell me where would I go. Tell me what led you on I'd like to know." She knows this guy takes good care of her and she can't make it without them yet she still betrays them. She also questions why he keeps taking her back despite her constantly leaving him. Many times she also mentions "Both men" and "Many Lovers singing soft" which I think means her having multiple affairs behind the "good-guy's" back. |
