| The Maine – Daisy Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I love this song, just because my name is Daisy :3 | |
| Something Corporate – Konstantine Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This song is pretty. And sad. But it's way too long. | |
| Amanda Palmer – Astronaut: A Short History of Nearly Nothing Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I know perfectly well that the meaning is very close to literal, but I have a different interpretation. I think it's about being in a relationship with someone who is hiding it from the world, and who obviously hurts you emotionally. However, you feel that they are too good for you - thus the astronaut references and the clinging to small bits 'upper half'. It's about change in an abusive or neglectful relationship. That's how I see it [: | |
| Bright Eyes – Trees Get Wheeled Away Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I really just think this song's about life, and how really everybody is alone and irrelevant in the world. It's a beautiful song though, I absolutely love it. | |
| The Dresden Dolls – Sandy's Song Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Sorry to be incredibly picky, but I am 90% sure this is actually Amanda Palmer, rather than The Dresden Dolls. I suppose it doesn't matter. |

| The Dresden Dolls – Colorblind Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I think this song is about her loving this guy entirely, but he is only in it for sex. The line 'you only love in red' represents lust, whereas she loves him in all ways. She is breaking up with him, because it hurts her too much to know that he doesn't feel the same way. My interpretation anyway. | |
| Alanis Morissette – Hands Clean Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I love this song, and I really relate to it. As far as I'm concerned it's about being in a relationship with a guy who wont admit it. Therefore it's hidden. She feels inferior, but that's why she is with him. It's basically about how after it's all over she still loves him, but nobody else knows about it, and he doesn't care anymore. That's what I think anyway (; |

I do so love this song. A while ago it was kinda the song of my life, so I have trouble hearing it any other kind of way. I think it's about a relationship that is hidden, thus the references to hidden love, and far away things. The astronaut doesn't care as much, or it doesn't seem he does. She loves him so desperatley, but she has realised he doesn't feel the same. He is an amazing person, her 'astronaut', so she will stay with him just to have her in her life, and have some part of him. That's how I see it anyhow (: |

| Taylor Swift – You Belong with Me Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I don't see why everybody is blinded by her nice curly hair. This boy has obviously upset his girlfriend, who as far as we know is perfectly lovely and volunteers at the hospital. It is automatically assumed that she is awful. Taylor Swift is jealous, and thinks that she knows him better, etc. That's not necessarily true, the song is from her point of view. The boy clearly likes the other, quite likely prettier and more popular girl. Why should he break her, and his own, heart just to satisfy the whining of an angsty nerd? The song is catchy. I like it. But it's evil. |
