Not sure if this makes any difference, but on the "official" lyrics in the LP jacket, this appears right after the main lyrics: (Try it to make it for holidays. Hang onto corduroy jeans and the late magazines that sit side by side. What did it mean? White yellow curtains and boxing uncertainty. If it sounds silly or markedly simple. Or what did you say?) |

The lyrics for this (and three additional bonus tracks) are on the LP release. In the first & second stanzas, "place to be" should be "plays-to-be" In the second stanza, "folding the sheets to your half" should be "folding the sheets to your head." Also, in the title it is spelled "Pickerel," not "Pickeral" |

I have a copy of the LP release, which has all the lyrics printed on the back cover. The second set of "Take it in stride" lyrics actually should read "Take it–it's dry." |

I think instead of "She would owe her clothes and head" it sounds like "she would owe her clothes and bed" OR "she put all her clothes in bed"... not sure which, but I think it's "bed," not "head." Thanks for this! |
