I love Morrissey and the Smiths but this is genuinely my least favourite Smiths song. Not because I am inherently opposed to the message of the song (although i can't imagine a life without meat...) but because musically it does nothing for me. It just grates,it's like (and essentially is) Moz screaming in your ear, saying "Don't eat meat, you prick!" Bad song on an amazing album. |
