I have a feeling this one's about abortion, maybe an abortion that had to happen because the baby had problems or something. That would explain his regret for it, and why the baby had a gravestone. "Hey Lucy, I remembered your birthday" = The baby's due date "Me and Lucy walking hand in hand Me and Lucy never wanna end" = Imagining the life he could have had with the aborted baby And I know that this is a Christian band, but this song isn't necessarily about any of them. But it is very well done, and really sad. |
