| Hollywood Undead – City Lyrics | 16 years ago |

One of my favorites from Hollywood Undead. I can't really go into depth of what I think this song is really about because it's so strong and probably has many meanings. Although the main point of the song, which is "burning the city", could mean that since society in a way is getting worse, whether it's to do with drugs, alcohol, crime, terrorism, almost "burning" in a way, but not literally...it's almost as if they are saying, "society is burning itself, why not just burn the whole city down?" Just a thought. |

| Cobra Starship – The Kids Are All Fucked Up Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Not sure if anyone pointed this out, or if it's even correct for that matter, but I beleive that "So we mess around when we're at a high Mr. Police ain't hurt in a lie" is supposed to be: "So leave us alone, when we're riding high, Mr. Police, ain't hurtin no-one." As for the meaning of the song, it could be taken different ways although I beleive it's just about being a kid, making friends with what parents would consider "bad kids". He makes it seem as though they can never hang out in the day, almost as if to say what they do wouldn't make others happy...such as drugs or something or even something they see as harmless. Despite what others, and his parents say, he does care about the people he's talking about, whether it's someone in parcticular such as a girl or not. Fangs Up! |

| Cobra Starship – One Day, Robots Will Cry Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
This has to be my favorite song out of everything that Cobra Starship has done. I can really relate to it, and I'm sure a lot of others could too. It's about, or at least what I feel like, how he, or someone, is almost like a robot, no emotions no feelings, acts only like a jerk or is only mean to others, specifically someone that's very close to him/them. "One day robots will cry" would mean that one day him and the others who act like him will soon feel emotion like "normal" humans. "I'm back after all these years"/"I won't make the same mistakes" proves that he must have treated someone close to him badly, and soon realizes what he did was wrong. "I'm dying not to hurt you-in our dreams we can be complete"- He obviously wants to change, and he feels that only in his dreams he can be with that close person without having to worry about anything such as the past. And last, my favorite line of the whole song (which btw I'm planning on getting tattooed) "I know I'm like a machine, but I still have dreams"- he realizes his lack of emotion towards others, but wants them to understand that he still is/strives to be a person on the inside. Fangs up! |
