the song may have written to depict child abuse and it is a beautiful song with a powerful video but the beauty in songs is you can make them what you want them to be. If you can't relate to the song from a child abuse aspect you can still relate it to another relationship in your life. |

The way I read the lyrics is she was in love with someone and now for whatever reason they aren't together anymore or their relationship is falling apart. Save my life Save my life Let these tears be our secret You and I You and I Once we were so close Save my life She is so in love with this person that without them she is literally dying. Which is why she is saying "Save my life". For some reason suicide does pop into my mind as well. |
