Wrong! Vishnu created Shiva and Brahma. It is said in many puranas that he can destroy a whole universe with the shake of his brow. Kali and Shiva probably destroy material existences. Vishnu destroys whole universes and absorbs them into him at the end of Brahma's life. You may say "but Shiva is there for that task". I think Shiva just destroys the three worlds but Vishnu destroys the whole universe and absorbs it into him. He is the most powerful deity of all and is unaffected by the process unlike Brahma and Shiva who get absorbed into him. PS Why did an American death metal band "praise" Vishnu?! |
