I think this has to do when everyone general idea that no one is ever satisfied with their accomplishments and we all push for more, more, more. I relate to this song so much. Around my junior year of highschool I amped up my already jam-packed school schedules for harder classes so I can get into better colleges and then make more money. I'm obsessed with success. I guess you could simply say that this song relfects the singer's drive to success but he wishes to take a moment for himself to relax and reflect on his decisions. |

I agree with the idea that this song is most likely about the singer/rapper smoking pot, or whatever he smokes, and just generally enjoys doing this most with a girl he loves: the "ultimate feeling". this song is damn catchy. |

when I first heard this song, i cried. the first verse about the mom & dad reminds me of how my childhood was. this song is pretty self-explanitory.
but: I think this song has to do with how we'll see our parents end up divorced and unhappy, and we take those beliefs into our lives. we say love doesn't exist or work, but then one person cuts through your thoughts and makes you believe otherwise. |
