the real meaning to this song is so sweet. in an interview jason explains how he was dating someone he met while touring so it was long distance and they could usually only meet for a day or two. this song came about after a 24 hr meeting with her before they were both flying off to wherever the had to go. jason said they would text a lot since they were so busy and always apart and when he got on the plane this time he was missing her more than usual and he sent her a text that said "if the plane goes down know that i loved you" |

this song is about jason's best friend bushwalla. the message at the beginning and end of the song is an actual message bushwalla left jason when he was having a bad day. i saw jason live in cleveland last week which is bushwalla's home town. jason played this and announced it was in honor of bushwalla which i think confirms it is about him. it's been around for awhile before this album though and was called sewing machine |
