These guys never seem to amaze me. Very powerful song. I actually prefer for skillet's lyrics to be more Christian, because thats who they are, no sense in avoiding it. "Hero" ofcourse, is referring to God. God is a hero in every way. He protects us and will always be on our side. For some reason this song reminds me of Rebirthing off of Comatose. So Catchy!! 9/10 |

What I love about this song is that it is written about something that happens often. I think everyone can relate to this and so many ways. We have all said things to someone that we really didn't mean. If we could we would we would take them back. But the damage is done. I think that this is generally what the song is about; regret and redemption Ive listened to the song the most off the album 10/10 |

This song reminds me a lot of the song "Don't Say Goodbye" off of Comatose. I think this is my favorite song off of this album. Their lyrics are so deep and to me this song has so much meaning. The way I interprut it; He is dreaming about someone he deeply cares about, but in reality in is not the same. He doesn't want to wake up because he doesn't want to realize the truth that he can't be with the one he truely loves. Very strong and powerful. 10/10 |
