This song actually really confuses me. If you read the lyrics it would make more sense if he said "girl" instead of "go", but if you watch the music video it would make more sense if he said "go" instead of "girl". Overall, I am not really sure what to make of these lyrics. Other than that I think that he's saying that whenever things get boring between him and his girlfriend they 'spice it up' to fill the silence and boring-ness. |

I am almost positive he is talking about god. In his song Thoughts Of A Dying Atheist he basically states that he is an atheist and that the end is all he sees, as in once we die, that's all. And in this song he says.. You're making me feel Like I was born to service you But I am growing by the hour You left US far behind So WE ALL discard our souls And -blaze through your skies- So unafraid to die Because I was born to destroy you I am growing by the hour I'm getting strong in every way *** the capitalized letters show that he is talking about the world as a whole. *** and the "YOUR SKIES" meaning as in "his heaven kingdom" |

| In my opinion.. I get the vibe that the lyrics are about that the guy is sick and annoyed of his "perfect" life because nothing epic or big happens in it. It's very boring and routine. So he decides he is going to really start living and cause scenes, and is going to be more open and is going to have that "I don't give a fuck" attitude. | |

I honestly lost a bit of respect for this band after reading some of their lyrics. I find it quite confusing if the lyrics for LIFTED is about a drug addict and how that's "not him" and that isn't what he's supposed to do. And then they have their song SMOKE that's about getting high (it's quite obvious) and how they just want to "burn one up." Sounds hypocritical to me.. in a way I suppose. But the whole "hating god" thing they have going on doesn't really bother me, I can respect their opinions. |
